remember: you don't/can't get what you *really* want until you share. the emerging nature of a globally connected culture is that everyone is much more aware of the ephemeral nature of their contributions, and less of the futile dogmatic stance of "leaving a permanent lasting stamp on the world". a free-for-all accomplishes nothing when driven by selfish desire. an evolving organic accomplishment can only be realised with shared consciousness and collective desire. it is in this interim phase that guides are required; while charlatans and power-mongers will certainly appear to take advantage of this chaos - hopefully men of integrity will appear and take their roles naturally. but we can not depend exclusively on hope - how to manage this transition should be a prime concern of all who desire to actively create a better world.
